Church Ministries

Praise & Worship

This ministry consists of singers and musicians who love to worship. They provide instrumentals, special music and serve in leading the congregationl worship and praise. They help provide an atmosphere of praise in which the congregation can enter into the presence of the Lord and minister to Him through their verbal expressions of love and thanksgiving.

Choir

During the Fall and Spring, members of the congregation come together to celebrate the Lord in song. Participation is encouraged for all who have a heart to sing. The choir usually presents a Christmas and Easter Cantata each year as well as providing special music at other times when appropriate. This ministry provides an opportunity for those who want to express their singing talent before people who enjoy hearing songs that uplift Jesus Christ.

K.I.D.S. Church

K.I.D.S. is an acronym for "Kids In Divine Service." This is a very important ministry of the church that meets every Sunday morning. It runs concurrently with the adult worship, and is for ages 6 - 12. It consists of puppets, skits, object lessons, singing and teaching.

Sunday School

Every Sunday, at the conclusion of K.I.D.S. Church and/or Adult worship, our children are taught in class settings from pre-school to sixth grade. Each class has an individual teacher utilizing a systematic teaching curriculum (visual aids, lessons, crafts, etc.).

Nursery

During our worship activities, we have a nursery designed for children 4 and under. We encourage parents to allow us to care for their children so they are free to worship without parenting responsibilities. Nursery is provided for Sunday and Wednesday worship services.

Children's Ministry

This ministry meets each Wednesday night during the other youth ministries and is for boys and girls, ages 5 - 8 years. Teaching, crafts, and other activities designed for this age group are provided. It is a time for them to experience knowing God at a level they can comprehend.

Teen Ministry

Every Wednesday evening we provide an opportunity for teens to get together for grades 6 - 12. This includes a worship time in the youth room, incorporating teaching, testimonies, videos, fun activities and more.

Missions Outreach

We support, with a monthly offering, a couple who minister in Southeast Asia. In addition, 12% of our General Funds are designated to be placed into World and Home Missions. Home Missions are those ministries perhaps in our area or nationaly, in which we are not physically involved. World Missions are ministries and ministry projects outside the United States. Recent projects: building churches in South Africa and Russia, purchasing Bibles for distribution in other countries, motor scooters for Viet Nam pastors, and assisting in the purchase of a truck for a Honduran missionary.
